Private equity firm Trinity Capital Plc has increased its stake in Shivinder Mohan Singh- promoted Fortis Healthcare Ltd to 4.24 per cent, by picking up an additional six million shares in the company for 10.3 million pounds (about Rs 82.4 crore).
Trinity has picked up six million shares at a price of Rs 145 per share, the equity firm said in a statement.
In January, Trinity had picked up two million shares in Fortis for 3.37 million pounds in the pre-IPO placement round, it said.
Fortis has hospitals in the National Capital, Noida, Mohali, Amritsar, Raipur and Srinagar.
