Mahindra Satyam to pick up 15% stake in Dion Global

Norwest Venture Partners invests $15 mn in Manthan Systems

IT company Manthan Systems today said it has secured $15 million investment from the US-based Norwest Venture Partners and it will use the same for funding acquisitions and other business expansion plans. Temasek sells ICICI Bank shares worth Rs 1,500 cr

Singapore government’s investment arm Temasek Holdings’ unit Allamanda Investments has sold shares worth $300 million (about Rs 1,500 crore) in India’s largest private sector lender ICICI Bank. As per the bulk deal transaction data at stock exchanges, about 40 per cent of the sold shares were acquired by global financial services giant Goldman Sachs, but the identity of the other buyers could not be ascertained. Bahraini telecommunications company Batelco Group on Wednesday said it was selling its stake in Indian mobile operator S Tel for $174.5 million, just days after India’s top court nullified more than 100 mobile phone licenses.
